Boldt s is proud to be a family owned and operated business through three generations. They specialize in 24 hour service along with quality design building services for new construction. The following is a brief history of our company and Everett Boldt, the man who founded it. Everett moved to St. Croix County with his family in 1936 at the age of 14 and helped run the family's dairy farm. After high school he married, and soon after signed up with the United States Army to serve his country in Europe during World War II. Everett returned in 1945, and began his work as a plumber and sheet metal/heating installer and serviceman, learning his trade on his own while he worked for the local hardware in the very same building Boldt's is located today. Everett's starting wage was $18 per week. In 1957, Everett borrowed $2000, bought a used truck and some used sheet metal equipment, and started his business. He built his first and only home in 1948, where he still resides today. In 1973, daughter Jule offered to help her father with his book work, resulting in a lifelong commitment to the business. Jule, along with her husband and master plumber, Dale Hudson, continue to manage the business today. Jule and Dale are grateful to the dedicated employees who help make Boldt's Plumbing & Heating the greatest for customer satisfaction.
